  60TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND

  JUNE 5-7, 2026

   60 years ago a man named Dutch Mueller had a vision to create the   Fagowees to advance fun, friendship and skiing in every "legal" way possible.   Fagowees from across the land are invited to join us to celebrate 60 years of   Fagoweeism. We've planned a weekend of events.

    Come one, come all -Old and New Fagowees are welcome to join us for the   60^th Anniversary Bash Weekend.     

          

   Here is the schedule: 

   Friday, June 5

   Happy Hour/Bar of the Month (to kick off the weekend)

   Samuel Becketts in the Village of Shirlington

   2800 S. Randolph St 

   Arlington, VA 22206

   Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm

   Cost: Whatever you order during the happy hour.                                                 The club will provide some appetizers during the event. The bar/restaurant is   walking distance from the hotel. Please sign up by June 1.

   Saturday June 6

   Dinner/Dance/Party

   Hilton Garden Inn-Shirlington 

   4271 Campbell Ave

   Arlington, VA 22206 703-820-0440

   Time: Open Bar Cocktail Hour 6:00-7:00pm                                                                     Dinner: 7:00-8:30pm                                                                                               Dancing with DJ 8:30pm-11:00pm

   Cost: $75 per person(includes a one hour open bar, followed by a cash bar,   buffet dinner,dancing and raffle prizes) Please sign up by May 30.

   Sunday, June 7

   Afternoon Picnic

   Location: Fort Hunt Park Pavilion C-2 

   Time: 12n-6pm

   Cost: $20 per person (includes BBQ with fixings and sides and beer & wine.)  Please sign up by June 1.

   Weekend Combo Price: Dinner & Picnic-$90 

   The Fagowees have a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shirlington.   Please call 1-877-StayHGI and Mention the FAGOWEE SKI CLUB 60TH ANNIVERSARY or group code: FSC when making your reservation.

   Location: Castle in the Sand Hotel, Waverly Castle Building                                                         3701 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, MD

   Join us for this return off season trip to the beach at the Castle in the   Sand. The hotel is located at 37th Street on the beach. The property  includes an onsite restaurant, Coconuts Beach bar**, Olympic size   pool, on site parking. This hotel does provide food & beverage service   on the beach.  Note: Only drinks purchased at Coconuts are allowed   on the beach. 

   Beach Party: 3pm on Saturday.  Party food and drinks(beer, wine,   soda) will be provided   

   Here are the FOUR options & prices for the week :                        Each efficiency has ocean views, with two queen beds, pull out sofa,   a small kitchen area and balcony. We have efficiencies in the       Fagowee block: 10 on the 1st floor & several on upper floors.

   Full Week:                                                                                       Mon, Sept 14-Mon, Sept 21: $1352.96 per efficiency, tax included. 

    Weekend Only:                                                                                     Fri, Sept 18-Sun, Sept 20: $652.96 per efficiency, tax included.   

   Extended Weekend:                                                                           Fri, Sept 18-Mon, Sept 21: $775.04 per efficiency, tax included.  

    Weekdays only: Mon, Sept 14-Fri, Sept 18: $577.92 per   efficiency, tax included. 

   FAGOWEE PARTY FEE: $25 PER PERSON(MEMBERS)   FAGOWEE PARTY FEE: $35 PER PERSON(NON MEMBERS)  

   Prices are per efficiency and reservations must be made directly  with the hotel against the Fagowee Room block. Reservations must  be made by Aug 23,2026. There is no extra charge for roommates.  You will be asked to provide a deposit equal to the first night's rate.  Balance due upon check-in. Be sure you tell them you are part of the   Fagowee room block and make sure your room is on the 3rd or 4th   Floor or if you want an ocean view, Sand Dune Patio view on the 1st   floor. 

   Cancellation: Full refund up to two weeks prior to arrival.
