Kayaking on the historic Occoquan River

 Let's go kayaking or stand up paddling on the  Occoquan River.  This is a beautiful area for beginners  to learn and paddle around while enjoying the river.  This is moderate strenuous event.  No experience  necessary.

 What: Kayaking or Stand Up Paddling(SUP)                                            When: Sat. July 13, 2024                                                                         Time: Meet at 9:45am  (Please arrive early)                                            Location: Penguin Paddling, 201 Mill St. Occoquan, VA 22125              Bring: Sunscreen, Sunglasses, whistle(if you have one), hat, water,  extra money for lunch.                                                                              Costs: Single Kayak-($22 an hour)                                               Tandem kayak (2 persons) ($26 an hour)                                          Stand Up Paddle(SUP)-($23 an hour)                                                   Have your own kayak?  Bring it!  Launch fee $5  

 Note: We are limited to 20 people for this event.                                     FEES ARE PAID ON SITE DAY OF EVENT                                         Post Paddle Lunch at Mill St. Beer Garden across the street for those   who are interested.                                                                          Paddlers of all ages and abilities are welcome.                                        We are renting through Penguin Paddling.  Click here for website.  Please RSVP to John at long4tex@aol.com by July 10 to sign up, so   we have enough kayaks.
